Training Department Intern

As a Training Department Intern, you will assist the Training Department with equipment preparation & curriculum for training courses. This role is 6+ months and part-time (20-30 hours) per week. Perfect for a local student who is looking for great experience.

What You’ll Do:

Administrative (45%)

  • Operate A/V equipment during virtual presentations.
  • Enroll Sales & Service candidates for classes.
  • Assist in curriculum development for sales and service training classes.

Equipment Setup and Operation (30%)

  • Prior to class, setup & operate equipment to trainer's needs.
  • Work with Service Trainers on equipment repair and maintenance
  • Work with Service Center to obtain failed parts for service training classes.
  • Inventory parts used for training, i.e. wheel weights, tires, accessories.

Training (25%)

  • Assist with Red Carpet demonstrations, i.e. drive cars, stage tires.
  • Provide Demo Training in a customer capacity role.
  • Assist trainers in preparations / setup of classrooms.
  • Inventory merchandise provided to trainees working with vendors to resupply.
  • Monitor classes and assist with replacement of training materials and aids.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to do wheel alignment or wheel balancing preferred.
  • Must have good written communication skills.
  • Must have experience with Microsoft PowerPoint & Word.
