As a Manufacturing Engineer III, you will create and refine standard work for assembly and machining departments.

What You’ll Do:

  • Create and refine Standard Work for assembly and machining departments.
  • Support assembly and automated CNC machining lines including root cause corrective action (RCCA) investigation and resolution.
  • Develop facilities plan including processing equipment, plant layout, material flow, and infrastructure needs.
  • Design fixtures as need to support machining, and assembly processes.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects.
  • Collaborate with QA and Design Engineers for NPI and process diagnostics.
  • Investigate new technologies for manufacturing process needs.
  • Assist with New Product Introductions (NPIs).
  • Define packaging requirements for NPI and maintenance for released product
  • Set process routings and labor standards.
  • Manufacturing Technical resource for R&D Engineering.
  • Other assignments as deemed appropriate by the supervisor and/or manager.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in a Manufacturing or Engineering environment.
  • Strong leadership skills working in a collaborative environment.
  • Proven Project Management experience.
  • Effective communication skills across all levels of the organization.
  • Possess a strong technical knowledge of metalworking processes.
  • Expert with 3D CAD software in a fixture design environment, Creo preferred.
  • 2D AutoCAD LT.
  • Proficient in best drafting practices, including GD&T.
  • PLC diagnostics is a plus.
